Today is 5 de Mayo! Time to learn a bit before we party! Saying that, in 1862 during the first years of the cicil war (Freeing the slaves wasn’t on the table yet) The Mexican Army in the State of Puebla had an unexpected victory over invading French forces. May 5th is not Mexican Independence day, That is on September 16. Cinco de Mayo celebrates an unlikely victory against overwhelming odds! WOOT!!!!!
